Personal projects

This page consists of some galleries showcasing smaller / less notable projects I've put together as well as longer blog-style posts where you can learn more about specific projects. 

(above) Voxel environment created in Brickadia, exported and optimized for use in Unity. (2021)

environments

Here are a few of the environments I've designed, modelled and textured displayed inside of Unity, with plenty of custom scripts and shaders. These were all used in VR projects.
 

mixed reality Event spaces (vr)

I've had the awesome opportunity to create VR environments in Unity for nationally recognized in-person conventions. These were shown on-site via a 2-way interactive portal between VRChat and the live event itself. The priorities for these virtual event spaces were as follows:

  • Manage heavy player counts by mitigating performance issues

  • Ensure compatibility on a range of VR hardware and systems

  • Work to the client's direct requests and chosen themes

  • Maintaining a seamless connection with the event portal

opendome (vrc, cvr, neos)

I did focused research on designing social VR environments by studying how players engage and utilize the worlds inside of them and then applied and practiced those principals in a project. ​ This post outlines what I came up with, along with some of my findings.​
